MONACO HOUSE

BIRMINGHAM

This rights of light project involved 2 days surveying onsite and this produced around 160 laser scans. It took our team 15 days from date of the site survey to create a 3d AutoCAD model from the registered pointcloud data.

Firstly, 3D laser scanning is used across the site to capture the buildings dimensions. Secondly, we create a highly detailed 3D CAD model of the data captured onsite. Specific window positions on elevations that are agreed with the client in advance are then added to the model. These elevations are the areas that will be affected by any proposed work.
