Modelling Architecture recently completed a comprehensive 3D laser scanning project at Lancelot Place, London. This ten-storey office building was scheduled for a complete internal refurbishment, and our task was to provide detailed and accurate survey data to support the renovation plans. Using advanced terrestrial laser scanners, we meticulously captured the building’s interior dimensions and features. The resulting point cloud data offered a precise digital representation of the space, which was essential for the architects and engineers involved in the refurbishment. Additionally, we provided the client with an online 360 tour of the property, offering an interactive and highly useful tool for visualising the existing conditions. This tour facilitated better planning and decision-making by allowing stakeholders to explore the building remotely.
