Modelling Architecture recently carried out an extensive Rights to Light survey for a large-scale project at London Dockside. This survey was a critical component of the planning application for a new high-rise building on the riverside. Employing both drone photogrammetry and terrestrial laser scanners, we captured detailed and precise data across the expansive site. Our drone technology facilitated efficient aerial data collection, while the terrestrial laser scanners ensured highly accurate ground-level measurements.Our expert team processed the data meticulously to produce a detailed Rights to Light report. This report offered crucial insights into potential light obstructions, aiding the planning and development process for the proposed high-rise building.
